Collection & Tangle Teezer ♡ COMPETITION WIN

The lovely ladies & gents at Collection & Tangle Teezer were doing a wee competition a few weekends ago and I entered, thinking hey, what do I have to lose! And can you believe it, I actually won! I'm over the moon!

I absolutely love Collection so I'm thrilled to win any of their products and I've been meaning to try pick myself up a Tangle Teezer to try for ages. My hairdresser is a recent Tangle Teezer convert and couldn't believe that I had never had one; she swears it will be a complete game changer for me and my thick curly locks- now I can find out! Thanks guys!

The prize is seriously generous- TWO Tangle Teezers in gorgeous summer colours (the orange/yellow 'Mandarin Sweetie' and the purple/pink 'Plum Delicious') and TWO stunning nail varnishes in beautiful seasonal colours.

The nail varnishes are part of Collection's new '7 Day Wear' range which released in May. As the name suggests they are designed to be chip-free for up to 7 days- impressive! The colours are just incredible - I won '15- Purple Storm' and '27- Lemon Meringue'. Both shades are just so deeply pigmented and bright. They're brilliant for such a teeny tiny price point- they're only £1.99 in Superdrug!


Both colours have a professional high shine finish (seen here with the Collection 2-in-1 Top Coat) and they glint in the sunshine beautifully. They're also available in over 30 fashion forward shades so there's every chance I'm now going to go out and buy them all- sorry in advance bank balance!

I've only had a little go of the Tangle Teezer before I'm writing this post but, so far, I really like it! Currently, the only brush I've ever been loyal to is a big wooden paddle brush from Boots Botanics range; it's the only one that has been able to handle my hair but I've still been worried once or twice that I'm going to break the handle off like in 'The Princess Diaries'!

The Tangle Teezer has two different heights of teeth so it seems to catch knots on multiple levels and even though I have an insane amount of hair, it seems to manage with ease. The brush is ergonomically designed to fit the palm of your hand comfortably which is ideal and even though this is The Original, it's still small enough to fit in a handbag which is something I certainly can't say for my current brush! Perfect!


Now I'm tempted to keep both Tangle Teezers to myself and have them match my mood/outfit/handbag but I'm going to be nice and give the brilliantly bright Mandarin Sweetie one to my sister who also has vast amounts of thick curly hair in need of detangling. Hopefully we'll both achieve 'hair peace at last'! I can't wait.
